Dr. Ayo Joyce Drayton provides expert inpatient consultation at the request of the admitting physician, focusing on the diagnosis and management of complex infections in hospitalized patients.

Her practice is dedicated exclusively to in-hospital consultation, with an emphasis on clinical precision, multidisciplinary collaboration, and high-level medical decision-making.

Hospital-Based Specialist
Atlanta Infectious Disease Consultants is a purely consultative, inpatient practice. Dr. Drayton does not maintain an outpatient clinical practice.

Consultations must be requested by the patient's admitting or treating physician. She serves as Medical Director of Infection Control and holds leadership roles as Chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee and Chair of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, and is a member of the Medical Executive Committee.
